Theory of Music

-We provide lessons in the Theory of Music for students. The AMEB theory syllabus is the same syllabus for all instruments. We teach this theory syllabus to violinists, cellists, vocalists etc. And of course pianists. Our regular theory lessons are of importance in being able to read and understand music notation. The theory also teaches the various Structures and Forms of music, the history of the progression of music through the ages with the well-defined Periods. We provide private one-on-one Theory lessons and Group Theory.

Pop and Jazz

Many of our students have progressed from sound classical training to become Pop and Jazz artists. They stay in contact with us which is lovely. Pianist and composer Daniel (pictured) performs in Paris regularly with his jazz group. He has won prizes at international jazz competitions and has recorded many CD's and video clips. Gloria’s piano student Rachel (pictured with her band) is an Indi Pop singer and pianist performing in Australia and USA and has also released CD's and video clips
